Tony has over 45 years business experience in financial services, systems, sales, programming, project management and management consulting. Experience includes building various companies, full cycle project management, systems and data center management, financial systems, vendor management, hands-on programming, software sales and marketing, disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Tony began his career with Kuhn Loeb & Company and was responsible for all systems, programming and data center operations. He continued his career with Morgan Stanley and was responsible for Equity and Government Trading as well as Broker Commissions and Management and Planning systems. Upon leaving Morgan Stanley he founded DP Sciences Inc., a provider of Management and Systems consulting to the Financial Community. The Company designed and managed systems and data centers for various financial clients. The Company also provided technology and support processing for Initial Public Offerings for over 30 clients. Tony also owned seats on The New York Futures Exchange and was a registered Floor Broker. He is the co-inventor on two method patents for processing transactions on smartphones in a secure environment.
Tony was also a director of Secure Continuity Planning, Inc. in charge of new business development, partnerships and vendor management. The Company provided Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans for the US Courts, state and local municipalities and financial institutions. Tony holds an AAS degree in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Baruch College, CCNY and an ABCP (Associate Business Continuity Professional) from the Disaster Recovery Institute.
Lou has over 30 years experience as a technologist and a problem solver in various market sectors (financial services, media, entertainment and consumer products) spent the past 15+ years as an independent senior consultant providing Management Consulting services to primarily the Financial Sector. He has a record as a successful battle tested IT professional with a strong track record in transforming large enterprises to the cloud and delivering proven practical solutions that enable organizations to adapt to rapidly changing technology. Helping C-level managers determine cloud strategies and implementation plans that fit their immediate and long-term objectives as well as their financial goals.
For the past 3 years, Lou has been leading the Dow Jones transition to the public cloud focusing on Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the primary landing zone for application with the Google Cloud Platform as a secondary delivery platform. He managed the entire transformation program including the analysis of 900+ applications and migration/retirement of 250+ applications from on-prem to the public cloud. This included the analysis and redesign of the current cloud infrastructure. The end result was moving the cloud infrastructure footprint from 28% of enterprise infrastructure to 65%+.
In the past, Lou has held several senior management positions as a Director, CIO and President of his own successful organization. He has extensive experience transforming organizations within large enterprises to future target state organizations that are more efficient, effective and able to meet their demanding goals. Lou holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
Sandy has been a member of the securities industry and has held senior positions in the banking, brokerage, and the financial utilities for 40+ years. Sandy began his career with US Trust Company of New York as Vice President of Securities Operations and was responsible for all aspects of securities processing and designed some of the first systems used to process securities in the financial industry.
Sandy has several other noted accomplishments where his success has positively impacted organizations he has worked. Highlighting his accomplishments, Sandy created a centralized securities processing system, still in use today, helping to make the Bank of NY the top clearing bank in the country. During his eleven years at NSCC, Sandy developed the systems for the processing of mutual funds nationwide between banks and brokers, at Bear Stearns & Co. as a Managing Director, he converted all the firms’ software, processes, and administration around the world for the millennium change, he also was responsible for the firm-wide conversion for the trading change from fractional trading to decimalization. After leaving Bear Stearns, Sandy established SFM Consulting where he provided management consulting services to financial firms as well as to financial software vendors including ADP, the Davidson Group, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and CheckFree. Sandy was also a Managing Partner in Market Resolve LLC where he headed the software division and developed software for Citigroup and ING among others.
Anthony began his career as a systems analyst with Prudential Insurance Company and was trained in computer technology at IBM’s Education Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. He continued his career with ADP and developed the first brokerage accounting system service. He then consulted for Arthur Andersen & Co. and developed an Oil & Gas Field Revenue and Expense Accounting System for the Rockefeller Brothers Trust and interfaced with then New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller. He also converted Arthur Andersen’s entire Tax Department to an online tax preparation system for individuals.
Anthony then moved on to The New York Stock Exchange where he designed the currently existing CUSIP System (universal numbering system for securities) as the NYSE’s member of the Committee. He also Designed and developed the system employed by Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. enabling the volume of trading that exists today. Anthony was also the Director of Information Technology at Lehman Brothers & Co. and later VP of operations at Shields & Co. where he managed the firm’s operations as well as IT.
Anthony was also a Director with MCI International where he was in charge of internal networks and supporting systems, as well as IT support for International sales, marketing and finance for Global Telecom, internet, email products and the help desk. He also consulted to a wide array of business enterprises. Among them: Morgan Stanley, LF Rothschild, JP Morgan, Fiduciary Trust Co., Federal Student Loan Program, Farmland Dairies and Cruise Lines Reservation Systems.
